Cayman Islands — The Limited Liability Companies Bill, 2016, was approved by the Legislative Assembly of the Cayman Islands on May 6, 2016 and published on June 8, 2016, and is expected to be effective in late June 2016 by separate commencement order.  The LLC Bill adopts a new limited liability company entity type based on the Delaware LLC concept combined with Cayman Islands Exempted Company and Limited Partnership aspects.
