Maryland — House Bill 744, effective October 1, 2017, amends provisions of the corporation law regarding expedited services, execution of documents, certificates of beneficial ownership, director duties upon forfeiture, resident agents, exclusive forum provisions, and fee shifting provisions and amends the REIT law regarding the applicability of certain provisions of the corporation law to trust REITs.
