Texas Senate Bill 859, effective September 1, 2015, adds irrevocable power of attorney provisions
Ohio House Bill 3, effective September 24, 2015, reduces certain business entity filing fees.
Michigan – House Bill 4399, effective October 1, 2015, provided that the LLC annual statement of resident agent and office fee will remain $25 until Oct. 1, 2019. The fee had been scheduled to go to $15 on October 1, 2015.
Michigan House Bill 4384, effective October 1, 2015, provided that the nonprofit corporation annual report fee will remain $20 until Oct. 1, 2019.
Michigan House Bill 4397, effective October 1, 2015, provided that the business corporation annual report fee will remain $25 until Oct. 1, 2019.
Maine – House Bill 971, effective October 15, 2015, allows nonprofit corporations, business corporations and domestic limited partnerships to apply for reinstatement more than 6 years after being administratively dissolved.
Hawaii — The Hawaii Secretary of State's office will be closed on August 21, 2015, in observance of Statehood Day.
Vermont — The Vermont Secretary of State's office will be closed on August 17, 2015, in observance of Bennington Battle Day.
Rhode Island — The Rhode Island Secretary of State's office will be closed on August 10, 2015, in observance of Victory Day.
