Oregon — House Bill 2330, effective January 1, 2016, amends the entity laws regarding mergers.

New Hampshire — Senate Bill 223, effective January 1, 2016, amends the entity laws regarding the name availability standard.

California — Senate Bill 351, effective January 1, 2016, amends the General Corporation Law and Nonprofit Corporation Law

California — Assembly Bill 844, effective January 1, 2016, amends the corporation and LLC laws regarding service of search warrants.

As of December 1, 2015, the State of Delaware will no longer accept paper UCC filings.

The Delaware Secretary of State office will be closed on Wednesday, November 11th in observance of Veterans Day. CT’s operations will be open as normal.

New York - Senate Bill 5777, effective October 26, 2015, amends the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law regarding land banks.

New York — Assembly Bill 7641, effective October 26, 2015, amends 2013 legislation by delaying the effective date of an amendment made to the Not-for-Profit Corporation Law regarding officers until January 1, 2017.

Alaska — The Alaska Secretary of State's office will be closed on October 19, 2015, in observance of Alaska Day.

South Dakota — The South Dakota Secretary of State's office will be closed on October 12, 2015, in observance of Native American Day.
